The Beach Cities branch promotes and actively seeks diversity in our membership, mentorship and related programs, reflective of today’s world.  Diversity includes but is not limited to: race, age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs or socioeconomic status.  We recognize that our community is enhanced as we appreciate and respect the differences among our members.

The Committee to Advance Diversity of the Beach Cities branch has been researching and sharing with the branch members what we learned, in particular the 4 concepts: Equity, Inclusion, Allyship, White Privilege.  We determined our areas of focus to be membership recruitment, retention and engagement.
